HYDE PARK, NY – The Associated General Contractors of New York State (AGC NYS) honored Kirchhoff-百家乐软件 Construction Management (KCCM) with the 2014 Jeffrey J. Zogg Build New York Award at a ceremony held on Thursday, April 16th at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum.
KCCM received the prestigious construction industry recognition for the first major renovation of the library and museum since 1972, when two wings were added in honor of Eleanor Roosevelt. The two-phased project carefully preserved the building’s historic appearance while bringing its archives and museum up to the National Archives’ standards for the long-term preservation of its historic collections.
“It was incredibly important to us to not only protect the precious historic artifacts within the library and museum, but to also conserve the integrity of the historic building and the land surrounding it. We are very excited and genuinely honored with this recognition,”
“The winners of this year’s Build New York Awards have demonstrated not only a high degree of skill, but a unique ability to successfully develop practical and innovative solutions to often complex problems,” said Mike Elmendorf, President and CEO of AGC NYS.
The Build New York Award honors leading construction projects and recognizes exceptional skill, imagination and innovative problem solving, as well as the meaningful impact the projects have on their local communities.
Architect for the project was EYP Architecture & Engineering of Albany, New York.
