Project Overview

  • Upgrade of existing 1969 diesel fire pump auxiliary equipment to improve safety
  • Consolidate the facility’s emergency/standby distribution switchboards into a single unit with an enclosure to meet code requirements
  • Provide emergency power for the existing auxiliary equipment in the fire pump room to ensure seamless operation during performances

Behind the scenes at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, new emergency and electrical equipment have been installed to ensure both performance and facility safety. The existing emergency/standby distribution switchboards, dating back to 1969, have exceeded their expected service life and the REACH facility added pressure to the existing switchboard.

To address these challenges, 百家乐软件 was hired to replace two existing switchboards with a single new switchboard needed to meet NEMA Type 1 compliance requirements. This upgrade enhances the reliability and efficiency of the electrical distribution system, offering a more secure solution for emergency and backup power.
